Tehran (IP) - Deputy of Legal, Parliamentarian, and Provincial Affairs of Ministry of Sport and Youth (MSY) of Iran said that Wrestling competitions in different parts of the world showed that the United World Wrestling (UWW) is serious holding competition in Tokyo Olympics.

Iran Press/Iran News: On the sidelines of the final stage of the Wrestling Premier League, which was held in Tehran, Jamshid Taghizadeh, told Iran Press: "Holding the competitions of the Premier League in compliance with health protocols, indicate that Iran's Federation is serious about holding regular competitions at the national and international levels."

Taghizadeh added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran Wrestling Federation will open a hall with 8 wrestling mats in the next 4 months, which can be the right place for holding international competitions."

He also added: "With the approval of the comprehensive system of club management in Iran, we will have a special look at other sports. Of course, the bill is currently in the government and will be sent to parliament for approval soon."
