Iran's Parliament:
Plan to reform budget structure of country approved

Tehran (IP) - Members of Iran's Parliament agreed to draft some provisions related to reforming the budget structure of the entire country.

Iran PressIran news: In today's (Tuesday) Parliament open session, the parliamentarians reviewed the report of the Program, Budget and Accounts Commission on drafting some provisions related to reforming the budget structure of the country. They approved the original plan with all its clauses and components with 206 votes in favor, 11 against, and 5 abstentions. 

In the single article of the plan, the 13 clauses of which had already been approved by the parliamentarians, the government is obliged to prepare the Iranian new year budget bill by observing the definition of payment identifier, including administrative, economic (chapters and expenditure sub-chapters contents), functional (affairs and chapters), the program (program and activity), the place of providing credit and monitoring of the final beneficiary and making all government payments from public and private sources through the electronic remittance of the Central Bank along with the payment identifier.

Also, the full establishment of the payment system for the final beneficiary and the transfer of credits between the executive bodies have been approved in the form of credit and registration of all support payments in the Ministry of Welfare system along with the payment identifier code (enactment of paragraph H of Note 17 of Budget Law 2021) in this single article.
