Iran Press/ Middle East: A military court in Beirut sentenced Kinda al-Khatib, a Lebanese citizen, to three years in prison with hard labor for interacting with Israeli spies, entering a hostile country, and trying to provide security information, Lebanese National News Agency reported on Tuesday.
After the 33-day war in 2006, which resulted in the heavy defeat of the Israel by Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Israeli military and intelligence agents increased their security and intelligence activities in Lebanon.
The Israeli agents, drones, and bombers have repeatedly entered Lebanese territory with the aim of spying.
