Iran Press/ Iran news: Bandyopadhyay, head of Indian board, Dehqanov head of Uzbekistan board, and Shahram Adamnejad Deputy Minister of Iran's Road and Urban Development attended the meeting.
Referring to the fact that Chabahar port is the main route for India and Uzbekistan to develop transit cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran, "Chabahar-Agreement" has been defined as an effective document for the three parties to develop infrastructure and establishing investment companies to benefit the possible opportunities in Chabahar Port via cooperating with Afghanistan.
The Islamic Republic of Iran plays a key role in the Chabahar agreement and welcomes other countries especially in Middle Asia to join this agreement and in this regard, the Republic of Uzbekistan is more eager than others.
Establishing a logistics and transportation company among Iran, India, and Uzbekistan and inviting other countries to join this company, was also discussed in this meeting. Three countries also went through expanding cooperation to complete infrastructure and connections through Afghanistan and evaluating financial-support strategies in the Mazari Sharif-Herat railway project.
