US convoy carrying Syrian oil enters Iraq

Damascus (IP) - The official Syrian news agency reported that a US convoy carrying Syrian oil entered Iraq through the illegal al-Waleed crossing.

Iran Press/Middle East: Sana news agency reported that the convoy of American tankers belonging to the international coalition, after loading the stolen Syrian oil in al-Hasakah province, transported it to Iraq through the illegal al-Waleed border crossing.

According to local sources in the village of Al-Suwidiyah, a column of 85 vehicles and tankers full of Syrian oil and military equipment entered Iraq.

The sources said that 16 American armored vehicles accompanied the convoy to the Iraqi border.

In recent months, US forces have moved dozens of convoys of stolen Syrian oil to al-Hasakah province in Iraq.

Occupying US forces, with the assistance of the so-called Syrian Kurdistan Democratic Forces (SDF), have seized most of the oil fields in the al-Jazirah region, between al-Hasakah and Deir ez-Zur provinces, and stole their oil and sell it outside Syria.
