Iran Press/Iran news: Masoud Nasiri, the president of Semnan University, added on Monday: "According to the processes that the ISC database has identified and extracted on the data taken from ESI and WOS databases with advanced methodology, the latest list of top institutions was published."
Nasiri said: "In the latest update, 74 Iranian universities and research institutes, including Semnan University, are among the top 1% of the world's top universities that have had the most impact."
The President of Semnan University said: "Citations in the world of science indicate the quality of scientific products and currently citation is the most important indicator that is used in scientific evaluations at the international level."
