Tehran (IP) - 214 MPs signed a statement expressing their reactions and protest against Turkish President's recent remarks about Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: The Parliament members stated in the statement that the Turkish president's divisive words were unacceptable.

Members of parliament expected good neighbourliness and efforts to unite the Islamic world and to bring peace and stability to the region and called the Turkish president's use of divisive language very surprising and unacceptable, and strongly condemned it.

They called it a language reminiscent of the imposition of a great tragedy on the great land of Iran and the imposed and unintentional separation of an important part of the Iranian nation.
