The Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that Iran has no intention of developing nuclear weapons and, therefore, has no problem in providing transparency in this regard. He added, "Given the experience of violating commitments by the United States and European countries, as well as the military attack on Iran during the middle of negotiations, there is distrust in relation to the West, but we believe that diplomacy is the only way to overcome this distrust."

Pezeshkian also met with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, and said that he has always sought to strengthen cohesion within Iran and expand cooperation with the world, and added, "The process of strengthening relations with European countries has not progressed as well as we expected, and today we have reached a point where three European countries are trying to implement the snapback mechanism against Iran."

During the meeting, Stubb emphasized that the only way to overcome challenges in the international arena is through dialogue and understanding within the framework of diplomacy.  He added, "We need genuine multilateralism and must not allow a multipolar approach to replace multilateralism, especially as the world moves away from unilateralism.
