President Masoud Pezeshkian said, "While this year's slogan is 'Unity and Progress for All,' what we are witnessing in the world is nothing but totalitarianism. Some powerful countries are using their tools to destroy human beings in a very brutal and inhumane way."

“It is difficult for me, as a human being, to comprehend this,” Pezeshkian said. “One cannot bear to see children in Gaza dying of hunger, perishing due to lack of medicine and treatment, while Israel continues to bomb various areas daily. Meanwhile, countries that claim to be civilized, powerful, and advocates of democracy and human rights openly support and equip this regime, and these very tools are used to carry out massacres.”

He added, “I do not know how international organizations will respond to such behavior. Is this what unity means, killing others to fulfill one’s own goals? Every human being, regardless of ethnicity, race, or belief, has the right to live on this planet and should be able to benefit from divine blessings without infringing on the rights of others.”

“During this trip, we will strive to express our positions based on our beliefs, which are rooted in peace, security, justice, rights, and humanity,” The President added.
