During his visit to a school in Tehran on the occasion of opening the new Iranian school year, the President told students: "You must gain knowledge, practice it, and acquire skills so that you can help solve the problems of the people."
Addressing the students directly, Pezeshkian added, "Knowledge is not something that ends once it is learned. At every moment, you can adopt a good idea, a good action, or a good behavior that can be used in service to others."
He went on to say: "Human beings are more valuable than gold; the potential within each person is even more precious and powerful."
Highlighting the government's commitment to education, the President concluded: "Our goal is to help you reach your full potential. I hope God protects you for the sake of your country, your people, and a proud future for Iran."
The new school year in Iran starts on September 23. This year, more than 17 million students went to schools across the country.
