The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday rejected the lawsuit filed by Texas that sought to invalidate Joe Biden's election victory in four battleground states.

Iran PressAmerica:  According to NBC News, U.S President Donald Trump called the case "the big one’, but despite 126 Republicans in the House urging it, the justices acted quickly to knockback.

"Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another state conducts its elections," the court said in a brief unsigned opinion.

Following this blow to the last hope for derailing a victory for Joe Biden, Donald Trump tweeted late Friday night:”

"The Supreme Court really let us down, No Wisdom, No Courage!".

President-elect Joe Biden's team welcomed the news, calling it an end to the president's baseless legal battle.

The actual presidential vote is going to be cast by the Electoral College on Monday.

206/104.
