AEOI Head: Afghanistan Art Week; a renewal of covenant, strengthening friendship pact with Iran

Tehran (IP) - Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi said that holding the Afghan Art Week is an opportunity to renew the covenant and strengthen the friendship treaty between the two nations.

Iran PressIran news: At the same time with Afghanistan Art Week, Salehi thanked the organizers of the event, stating: "Although the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan are two independent political units in the present era with respect to politics and geographical divisions, there is no dividing line or borderline between the two nations in terms of culture and civilization."

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran stated: "Unfortunately, due to the colonial and expansionist policies of some powers in the past few decades, deep wounds have been inflicted on the body of Afghanistan, and some ill-wishers are seeking some cultural and ideological differences in Afghanistan to prevent the return of complete and lasting stability and security in that land of poetry, grace and art."
