Tehran (IP) - The spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health announced on Monday that 1,51,374 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 742,955 of the total infected people recovered with the new deaths decreasing to 284 in the past 24 hours.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 7, 2020, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 reached 10,827 cases out of whom 1,691 patients were hospitalized, the Spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health Sima Sadat Lari stated. 

She added that in the past 24 hours, 284 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 50,594. 5,796 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

So far, 6,432,228 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the health ministry spokeswoman noted.

Currently, 64 counties are in the red zone, 278 are in the orange zone, and 106 are in the yellow zone.
