Iran Press/ America: "Majid Takht-Ravanchi," Iran's ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations, on Sunday stressed in his speech to the UN General Assembly: "The UN Security Council should not be a tool in the US toolbox."
Takht-Ravanchi called the Security Council dominated by Western countries and stated: "This council has been abused by some permanent members and has not been held accountable for its actions."
Iran's ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations added: "The Security Council is undemocratic due to the weak presence of developing countries in its membership."
