Rome (IP) - An Italian nuclear scientist stated that the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh is a considerable and serious criminal act and may spark a war in the Middle East.

Iran PressIran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Italian nuclear scientist Vincenzo Brandi said that it is a regret that western governments do not condemn this terrorist act and Western media publish this news with the least emphasis.

"I condemn the Israeli regime's action since it is both criminal and irresponsible," he highlighted.

He went on to say that the situation in the Middle East is very sensitive and there is aggression in Syria due to the US troop's presence, as well as Yemen and Lebanon and these acts may spark a new war in the Middle East.

"I also lambaste Italian media because of ignoring this crime and journalists who did not talk about it," he concluded.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense and a scientist in the country's nuclear industry, was martyred on Friday (November 27th) in a terrorist attack around Tehran.
