In a recent poll conducted by Reuters, U.S. President Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen to 41 percent, amid Washington’s involvement in the Israeli regime’s imposed war against Iran.

According to the joint Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Monday, Americans fear a conflict between the United States and Iran, expressing concerns that tensions could escalate further following U.S. aggressions against Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.

The three-day survey, which began after US airstrikes and concluded early Monday before Iran’s missile response targeting a US airbase in Qatar, revealed that Americans are equally worried about military personnel stationed in the West Asia.

Approximately 84 percent said they were generally concerned about an escalation of conflict.

The poll, which surveyed 1,139 American adults across the United States, highlights deep divisions within the country over Washington’s next steps and underscores the political risks Trump faces. It showed Trump’s approval rating dropping to 41 percent, the lowest point in his current presidency.

This development comes as global attention remains focused on the region, with Iranian armed forces having launched a missile barrage at American military bases in Qatar in a retaliatory operation a day after Iranian nuclear sites were targeted by US bombers.
