President Pezeshkian told Macron:"The United States has attacked us; if you were in such a situation, what would you do? Naturally, they must receive a response for their aggression."
The U.S. carried out bombardment of Iranian nuclear facilities in centrl Iran on Sunday early morning.
"The recent US aggression against Iran's nuclear facilities is a clear symbol of the dishonesty and baselessness of America's claims about dialogue and peace",Pezeshkian added.

Macron for his part said : "France is ready to begin negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran. We continue our efforts to stop the clashes and restore stability."
