Iran Press/ Europe: Referring to the assassination of Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, the Iranian ambassador to UNESCO Ahmad Jalali, added: "Terrorists assassinated the fifth Iranian scientist, and we expect UNESCO to take responsibility and condemn this cruel act."
Jalali said: "In developing countries, it is the scientists who have to create scientific structures based on indigenous needs, but alas, many of these countries are plunged into the brain drain, and worse, brain hijacking and, most catastrophic, the assassination of their scientists."
Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense and a scientist in the country's nuclear industry, was martyred on Friday (November 27th) in a terrorist attack around Tehran.
Preliminary evidence points to Israeli weapons used in the assassination of the top Iranian nuclear scientist.
Many countries and officials around the world condemned the assassination of Fakhrizadeh.
