Iran Foreign Ministry advises Afghan officials to publish news more carefully

Tehran (IP) - The Spokesman of Iran's Foreign Ministry called on Afghan officials to publish news more carefully and not hasten to issue official statements.

Iran PressIran news: A video was published on the internet showing some Afghan people were being beaten allegedly by some in Iran, following which Iran's Police announced the technical investigations indicated that the incident did not occur in Iran. 

Confirming the statement of the Police, Saeed Khatibzadeh stressed more vigilance over the malicious acts to tarnish Tehran-Kabul ties in a time when the Khaf-Herat railway is to be launched in the coming days as the symbol of significant cooperation between Iran and Afghanistan.

Kahtibzadeh expressed regret over the occurrence of such an incident anywhere in the world, demanded the Afghan officials to practice more care in publishing news and official statements.
