Tehran (IP) - Foreign Ministry spokesman said that a crime has been committed by an evil triangle that has been ordered and there are perpetrators behind it, and instead of focusing on the fact that their will is not fulfilled, unrelated things are connected.

Iran PressIran News: Attending his weekly press conference and in response to Iran Press question, Saeed Khatibzadeh noted that the name of Martyr Fakhrizadeh was mentioned in the list of the MKO terrorist group in the mid-2000 and later in the information that Israel gave to the United Nations and the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency).

Since 2007, in Resolution 1747, the name of Martyr Fakhrizadeh was included in the sanctions list along with others, some of whom were removed from the list after JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action). However, US President DonaldTrump reinstates some names to the list, he noted.

Martyr Fakhrizadeh was one of the main figures behind the conclusion of JCPOA and his role in JCPOA is undeniable, Khatibzadeh highlighted.

"Some Israeli sources quote that the Israel regime is carrying out assassinations," he added.

Elsewhere, regarding some claims which state that documents and some meetings and inspections of IAEA inspectors can be involved in identifying and assassinating the head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense, the spokesman emphasized that we have not and will not give more access to IAEA inspectors as part of our commitments.

"Our relationship with the Agency, despite some differences, has always been technical and based on mutual respect, and they have been notified for not adhering to some responsibilities", FM spokesman reiterated.

Khatibzadeh expressed hope that the Agency's approach will remain professional and technical, and that Iran will pursue its relations on that basis.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organisation Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics, was martyred in a terrorist attack on the outskirts of Tehran on Friday evening.
