Iran Press/Europe: The Iranian embassy in France issued a statement on Monday stating: "The assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, a prominent Iranian nuclear and defense scientist, is a clear example of state terrorism in which the traces of the Zionist regime are quite visible."
The statement added: "The assassination of Iran's nuclear scientists is aimed at depriving the Islamic Republic of a peaceful nuclear program."
"Terrorist acts can never be an obstacle to the development and progress of the great nation of Iran in the field of science and technology, and the scientific and technical efforts of Iran will continue vigorously and perpetrators of terrorist crimes will be punished," the statement added.
