Tehran (IP) - Following the martyrdom of Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament said the international community's silence makes terrorists even ruder.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf sent separate messages to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the President of the International Union, and the Secretaries-General of the Parliaments of Islamic and the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), as well as the Speakers of some Parliaments.

"The organizers and perpetrators of this terrorist act within the framework of the principle of legitimate defense and countering organized terrorist acts noted: There will be regional and international peace and security," Ghalibaf said.

"Fakhrizadeh was assassinated while leading a scientific team of Iranian scientists to produce the first indigenous diagnosis test for corona vaccine. Preliminary evidence suggests that the known perpetrators of the crime who have a long list of targeted cross-border assassinations in West Asia and beyond were behind the inhuman assassination," Ghalibaf stated.

"We believe that any silence and inaction of the international community against such terrorist acts will make the perpetrators more arrogant and threaten regional and international peace and security," Iran's parliament speaker stressed.
