Tehran (IP) - Iran's Government Spokesman Ali Rabiei expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, a prominent nuclear scientist in Iran, saying that the aggressor will definitely be punished, but not on the playground that he defines.

Iran PressIran News: Government Spokesman Ali Rabiee wrote in a tweet on Saturday following the martyrdom of the Iranian scientist: "I congratulate the Iranian nation, the scientific community, and his family on the martyrdom of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, a prominent scientist of our country, and condole his loss."

"The aggressor will definitely be punished, but not on the playground that he defines," he said.

Rabiee added: "Based on recent interactions, the terrorist enemies are pursuing goals such as disrupting the peace of mind of the society, creating confusion in Iran's strategy, and disrupting regional and global security due to possible future changes in international policies."

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organisation Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics, was martyred in a terrorist attack on the outskirts of Tehran on Friday evening.
