Iran Press/Middle East: Yemeni National Salvation Government Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf in a messagee to Mohammad Javad Zarif condemned the assassination of the head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Iranian Ministry of Defense, and extended his condolences to the Iranian nation.
In a part of this message he said: " This assassination by the evil axis and a head of them the Zionist regime is a sign of afraid trend of Iran's scientific and defense power progress."
In other part of the message he continued: "Intensification of terrorist attacks with the aim of stopping the development of scientific power and the defense industry in Iran is a sign of the intensity of the enemies' fear, and it can never stop Iran's progress in all fields."
Earlier, Iranian officials condemned the assassination of Iranian scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh and promised a severe punishment awaits those perpetrators in this criminal terrorist act.
Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense and prominent Iranian nuclear scientist, was assassinated and martyred on Friday afternoon local time in Damavand, Tehran Province, by unknown individuals during an armed conflict with his bodyguards.
