Iran Press/Middle East: In an interview with Al-Manar on Friday night, Sheikh Naeem Qassem expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of this prominent scientist to Ayatollah Khamenei, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ministry of Defense and the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, and the Iranian nation.
He considered this crime as part of the fight against Iran, the region and Palestine.
Stating that martyrdom is a source of honor and dignity and that the assassinations do not shake the axis of resistance, he added: "The answer to this crime is in the hands of the relevant authorities in Iran."
Earlier, Iranian officials condemned the assassination of Iranian scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh and promised a severe punishment awaits those perpetrators in this criminal terrorist act.
