Iran Press/Iran News: A statement issued Friday by the Iranian Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support said: "Iran's naval deterrence and defense power, as a point of trust and reassurance for the Iranian nation, is an anchor of stability and lasting security in the strategic region of the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman."
The statement added: "Iran's navy, by producing the latest defense products, will frighten the enemies and will respond harshly and regretfully to any mistake made by them."
The statement from the Iranian Ministry of Defense said: "After the imposed war (Iran-Iraq war), the Navy of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran has made the production of indigenous power in the field of security and enhancement for regional and extraterrestrial waters a reality."
Today (Friday, November 27) is the anniversary of the bravery of the personnel of Peykan missile launcher, the Navy Day of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
