Sistan and Baluchestan (IP) - Sistan and Baluchestan province, with many tourist and historical attractions, is one of the most untouched areas in southeastern Iran.

Iran PressIran News: In addition to the beautiful nature, the historical monuments of Sistan and Baluchestan are very famous, and Rostam Castle is one of them.

The 500-year-old historical castle which belongs to the Safavid and Seljuk era is located about 70 km from Zabul to Zahedan main road.

The name of this castle is taken from the legendary hero of Ancient Persia called Rostam.

Rostam Castle in the Howzdar city also stands beside the remains of an ancient city with numerous buildings with brick- facade design, the gate, the watchtower, and 15 defense towers.
