Zahedan (IP) - The largest traditional element and the most important handicrafts industry in Sistan and Baluchestan province, southeastern Iran, installed in Zibashahr Park in Zahedan, the capital of the province.

Iran Press/Iran News: The facade of the traditional element is a combination of needlework, coin embroidery, and pottery as important symbols of the handicrafts of Sistan and Balochistan province. 

The element is 12 meters high and 8 meters wide.

The handicrafts industry of Sistan and Baluchestan province with its original and historical art history has been of interest to everyone, especially tourists, and its symbol is Kalpurgan pottery dating back to 3,000 years ago.

Kalpurgan village was registered as the first global village of handicrafts in 2017 and shines like the jewel of Iran's handicrafts in the world.

The village is located in Saravan city, 350 km from Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan province, with its Kalpurgan Pottery Live Museum as the only live museum in the world.

Needlework is one of the most important handicrafts of Baluch women and the valuable heritage of the Baloch people. 212/ 104
