Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking on Sunday, Khatibzadeh announced the compilation of a list of cases in which the new US president has been held accountable for his commitments vis-a-vis Iran.
He told Al-Alam on Sunday that the United States has no choice but to respect and return to the rule of law and noted: "Tehran is looking forward to the practical actions by the new US president."
Khatibzadeh called the United States as the violator of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and added: "The United States is not in a position to set prerequisites for Tehran. They have inflicted loss of billions of dollars on the Iranian nation."
The spokesman for Iran's foreign ministry said the difference between the Biden and Trump campaigns was clear, but Iran was expecting practical action.
"The United States must repent and stop the economic war against Iran," he said.
The spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: "The JCPOA negotiating table is still there and there is a place for everyone, although the path is difficult."
The American media on Saturday evening (November 7) announced that Joe Biden was able to get 290 electoral votes and declared him the winner of the US presidential election.
