Tehran (IP) - Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted on Sunday stressing that the world is watching the new US leaders' behavior and what matters the most is deeds.

Iran Press/Iran news: Zarif, in his latest tweet released on Sunday, referred to the US presidential election, saying: “The world is watching whether the new leaders will abandon disastrous lawless bullying of the outgoing regime and accept multilateralism, cooperation & respect for the law.”

Zarif went on to conclude that “Deeds matter most. Iran's record: dignity, interest & responsible diplomacy.”

US President Donald Trump, who has lost Tuesday's election to challenger Joe Biden, has imposed the most draconian sanctions regime against Iran since he withdrew his country from the Iran Nuclear Deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2018.
