In response to Donald Trump's defeat in the 2020 US presidential election, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London stated that Trump could not surrender Iran and now his political life ended with longing for a call from Iran.

Iran PressEurope: The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to London, Hamid BaidiNejad, posted a message on his Twitter page on Saturday night, saying: "Finally, the political life of a man who only spread hatred is over."

He added that despite his policy of maximum pressure, he could not force Iran to surrender.

Joe Biden was elected the 46th President of the United States with 279 votes against only 214 votes of Donald Trump, and Kamala Harris was elected as the first woman Vice President.
