Tehran (IP) - Iran's President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday stressed that those behind sanctions against Iran should realize that their path is wrong and that they will not achieve their goals in any way, saying they would better come back to all their commitments.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking on Saturday in the meeting of the National Task Force for Combating coronavirus Hassan Rouhani said: "We hope the situation will be such that the boycotters have realized their way is wrong and they will not achieve their goals in any way, and this three-year experience will serve as a lesson for them that the next US government will face the law and regulations and return to all its obligations, and let the people touch and see the reward of their patience, resistance, and endurance.”

He expressed hope that through the cooperation of each other and the frameworks approved by the National Task Force, Iran will gradually witness a decrease in these conditions as people increase their level of observance of the approved protocols, and more calmness in the community will be seen.

"Our people have been facing economic terrorism for the past three years, and they have shown resilience, patience, and good standing," the president said.

Rouhani elaborated further that the decision made by Iran has always been clear and under any circumstances, the nation will continue its resistance and patience so that the other side will bow down before the law and regulations.

Rouhani said: "people have been facing the corona disease and virus for nearly 9 months and have faced many problems, especially in the third wave, when the pandemic is more severe. We had such conditions all over the world.”
