Tehran and Minsk are close partners: Envoy

The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Belarus, Saeed Yari pointed to the close cooperation between Iran and Belarus in international organizations and institutions, stressed the need to develop economic cooperation and use the capacities of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to increase trade between the two countries.

Iran PressEurope: In an exclusive interview with channel 1 news of Belarus national television, Saeed Yari noted to Iran and Belarus economic and political mutual ties called Tehran and Minsk as close partners and said: Principled positions of Iran's foreign policy presented a realistic picture of Iran's history, civilization, culture, and beauties to the people of Belarus.

The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Minsk pointed to the existence of common and harmonious views between the two countries on global issues called for developing economic cooperation and using the capacities of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to increase trade between the two countries.

Yari referred to the failed US hostile policy against Iran and said: "US 'economic terrorism' and anti-Iran sanctions during the coronavirus outbreak are a clear example of 'crime against humanity'."

Referring to the cowardly US action in the assassination of the Late Commander of Quds Force of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Lt. Gen. Ghasem Soleimani, the Iranian envoy went on to say that Iran will forcefully continue its anti-terrorism policy in the region and the world.
