The Spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari, announced on Thursday that 654,936 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 505,287 of the total infected people have recovered.

Iran Press/Iran News: "According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to November 5, 2020, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 reached 8,772 cases out of whom 2,789 patients were hospitalized," Lari stated.

She added that in the past 24 hours, 406 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 36,985.5,472 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

"So far, 5,110,752 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman noted.

She pointed out that Provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, East Azarbaijan, South Khorasan, Semnan, Qazvin, Lorestan, Ardabil, Khuzestan, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Gilan, Bushehr, Zanjan, Ilam, Khorasan Razavi, Mazandaran, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Alborz, West Azarbaijan, Markazi, Kerman, North Khorasan, Hamadan, Yazd, and Kordestan are regarded as red zones.

Hormozgan, Fars, Golestan, and Sistan and Baluchestan provinces are also regarded as orange and yellow zones. 101
