Iran PressIran News: Hossein-Ali Amiri in an exclusive interview with Iran Press stated: "The Comprehensive Election Bill is in fact the product of the accumulated experiences of presenters and observers in different eras and political activists with different tastes."

Speaking to IP, Vice President for Parliamentary Affairs highlighted that the government requested that the comprehensive election bill be put on the agenda of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.

Given that the comprehensive election bill had earlier been submitted to the Islamic Consultative Assembly, the government did not agree with the parliament's plan to amend the election law, he noted.
