Dear Dr. Mohammad Osman Babury
Honorable Chancellor of Kabul University – Afghanistan
Hello,
We received the news of the unfortunate incident of a terrorist attack on Kabul University and the martyrdom of a number of educated professors and valued students. This tragic incident caused a deep impression and regret in everyone, especially academicians.
It is very unfortunate that in the present world and in the present century, with all the scientific advances of mankind, we are painfully witnessing the moral and human decline, so that even the university as the center of thought and consciousness is attacked by corrupt and cowardly ideas.
On behalf of the University of Tehran, condemning this humiliating and terrorist act and expressing regret about the incident, we extend our condolences to your excellency, the honorable nation, and community of Afghanistan University, dear students and professors, especially to the bereaved families, and ask for God's mercy and forgiveness for the victims and patience for the survivors.
Although this loss is irreparable, we hope to see more than ever the growth and flourishing of the sprouts of science and knowledge in the academic community of Afghanistan.
