Iran Ministry of Science condemns terrorist attack on Kabul University

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology condemned the terrorist attack on Kabul University and the killing of a number of students and professors.

Iran PressIran News: The Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced in a statement on Tuesday that the cowardly terrorist attack on university centers shows enmity with science and knowledge and a failed attempt to perpetuate ignorance.

In this statement, the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran expressed its condolences to the people and government of the friendly and brotherly country of Afghanistan.

Earlier, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Afghanistan had condemned the attack on Kabul University, calling it a 'criminal' and 'terrorist' act.

A terrorist attack on Kabul University on Monday killed 22 people and injured 25. Most of the dead and wounded in the attack were students.

Although the Taliban did not claim responsibility for the attack, the First Vice-President of Afghanistan Amrullah Saleh has accused the Taliban of the crime.
