Iran Press/ Iran News: Referring to the presence of 7 airbases of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force in the exercise, the Spokesman for the 'Fadayeeyan Harim Velayat' aerial drills Brigadier General Farhad Goudarzi said on Monday: "After the deployment of fighter and bomber aircraft, heavy and semi-heavy transport aircraft, tanker aircraft, interceptor and reconnaissance planes, air patrols and drones, the methods of counteracting the hypothetical enemy invasion will be practiced in two days, with new tactics being used".
"In this exercise, Sukhoi 24, F-4, F-5, F-7, F-14, MiG-29, Sa'eqe, and Boeing 707 and 747 tanker aircraft along with a variety of UAVs equipped with precision-guided missiles and smart long-range bombs are present," Goudarzi stated.
According to the spokesman for the exercise, bombing using pinpoint and smart ammunition, conducting air combat exercise and destroying air targets, conducting regular and varied tactical air bombardment operations, aerial reconnaissance and electronic interceptions, using UAVs to bomb targets, reconnaissance, and photography, as well as using the young staff besides veterans are some of the goals of the exercise. 215/104
