Tehran (IP) - The Chief Commander of Iran's Army said that a major part of factors in shaping crises originates from the intervention of foreign powers.

Iran Press/Iran News: Major General Abdulrahim Mousavi said that due to the strategies of the world's arrogant powers and the wrong policies of some Islamic countries, today the Islamic world is facing serious crises.

General Mousavi enumerated Palestine, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Kashmir and Caucasus regions among the countries that are struggling violently with the foreigners-created crises.

Stating that unity and movement towards Islamic convergence is the first requirement of the Islamic world at the present time, General Mousavi noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran, with a committed and responsible approach to the developments in the Islamic world, strives to play a constructive role in bringing religions together and strengthening the Islamic world in various fields.

He said that the great spiritual, material and human capacities that are located in the Islamic country have given Muslims a privileged position in cultural, historical, geographical, geopolitical, political, economic, and defense aspects.

Major General Abdulrahim Mousavi made the remarks on the third day of the 34th International Conference of Islamic Unity with the topic of 'Islamic Cooperation in the Face of Disasters'.
