Tehran (IP) - The Spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health Sima Sadat Lari announced on Friday that 604,952 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 477,003 of the total infected people have recovered.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 30, 2020, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 reached 8,011 cases out of whom 2,754 patients were hospitalized, Lari stated.

She added that in the past 24 hours, 365 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 34,478.

5,128 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, Lari said.

So far, 4,892,704 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the health ministry spokeswoman noted.

She pointed out that the provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, East Azerbaijan, South Khorasan, Semnan, Qazvin, Lorestan, Ardabil, Khuzestan, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Gilan, Bushehr, Zanjan, Ilam, Khorasan Razavi, Mazandaran, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Alborz, West Azerbaijan, Markazi, Kerman, North Khorasan, Hamadan, Yazd, and Kurdistan are regarded as red zones.

Hormozgan, Fars, Golestan, and Sistan and Baluchestan provinces are also regarded as orange and yellow zones.
