Iran Press/ Iran News: Delivering the inaugural speech of the Islamic Unity Conference on Thursday, Hamid Shahriari stressed the Islamic elites' cooperation to prevent war, insult, extremism, and enemies' plots.
"Islam's enemies and intelligence services leading by the world's arrogant power (US) are trying to incite division through waging war and terror, like their efforts to normalize some Arab states' ties with the Israeli regime," Hamid Shahriari said.
The 34th International Conference on Islamic Unity titled 'Islamic Cooperation in the Face of Calamities and Disasters' kicked off on October 29, 2020, in Tehran and will be closed on Monday evening, ؛November 2, with the leader's speech of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
"161 foreign participants from 35 countries attended the conference, from whom 92 influential figures will deliver their speech at the conference," according to Shahriari.
The coronavirus outbreak restricted any trip to Iran so the conference will be held via videoconferencing.In the coming sessions of the conference, the Islamic world's moral and ethical challenges, the Islamic world's tactical capacities, and the media's role to inform public opinions will be discussed.
