5.2-magnitude earthquake jolts Iran's Yazd

Yazd (IP) - A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit the Bahabad region in Yazd province, central Iran at 1:04 local time (21,34 GMT) on Tuesday.

Iran PressIran News: The epicenter of the earthquake was 32.246 degrees north latitude and 55.928 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 8 km.

Rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the affected areas to assess the situation.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or severe damage.
