A motorcycle bomb blast in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo has killed at least two people and injured several others.

Iran Press/Middle East: Arabic Russia Today quoted local Syrian news sources as saying that two people were killed and several others were injured when a motorcycle bomb exploded on the Al-Jasr Al-Jadeed route in the city of Afrin northwestern Syria.

The northern regions of Syria, where terrorist groups affiliated with Turkey as well as the US-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are present, have been repeatedly hit by mortar attacks, explosions, and car bombings.

The Syrian government has considered the presence of Turkey and its affiliated forces on Syrian territory as occupation and stressed the need for them to leave the Syrian soil as soon as possible.
