Tehran (IP) - An Iranian representative reacted to the recent anti-Islam comments by the French president, saying that the hostility of the disbelievers to the illuminating message of the Holy Prophet has a long record in history.

Iran PressIran News: Ali Karimi-Firouzjaee in a statement released on Monday condemned the French President's support of those who seek desecration of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).

Referring to the enmity of the French officials in backing the Holy Prophet's desecration, he said the move also serves as proof that the justice-seeking teachings of the Holy Prophet.

Karimi-Firouzjaee also called French officials' backing of desecrating the Holy Prophet of Islam as an indication of the depth of the modern ignorance toward the holy religion of Islam and all of the divine religions.   

The member of Iran’s parliament concluded that the Muslims of the world stand together and are united against the global blasphemous current so that the message of the Holy Prophet's life-saving message would resound the world over. 

Calls to boycott French goods are growing around the world after President Emmanuel Macron's comments against Islam and Muslims.

Macron on Wednesday accused Muslims of separatism and vowed not to give up cartoons depicting Prophet Muhammed.
