Iran Press/ Middle East: Iraqi Hezbollah battalions condemned the move by the Sudanese transitional government to normalize relations with the Israeli regime, stating: "The steps taken by the Sudanese mercenary government and some Arab states to normalize relations with the Israeli regime is considered as a betrayal to the people of Palestine."
US President Donald Trump on Friday announced the normalization of relations between Sudan and the Israeli regime.
"Sudan and Israel have agreed on the full normalization of relations," Trump said at the White House.
Meanwhile, the United States, the Israeli regime, and the transitional government of Sudan issued a joint statement in this regard.
Following Trump's efforts to facilitate the normalization of relations between the Arab regimes and Israel, the UAE and Bahrain agreed with Israel on the full normalization of diplomatic relations.
These agreements have been widely criticized in the Muslim world.
In recent months, the normalization of relations between Arab regimes in the region and Israel has intensified.
On Saturday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry called the US' offer to remove Sudan from the terrorism blacklist to normalize Israel's relations shamefully.
In a Twitter message, the Iranian Foreign Ministry wrote: “Pay enough ransom, close your eyes on the crimes against Palestinians, then you'll be taken off the so-called "terrorism" blacklist. Obviously, the list is as phony as the US fight against terrorism. Shameful!”
Trump announced come amid the run-up to the Nov. 3 US Presidential Election.
