Iran Press/ Asia: Iran's ambassador to Republic of Azerbaijan Abbas Mousavi wrote on his personal Twitter account that during Friday's meeting with Mr. Ramin Guluzade, the Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, they discussed the current situation and prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries, as well as in the fields of transport, information and communication technology, posts and other topics of interest.
This meeting happened while the Republic of Azerbaijan, as Iran's neighbor, is engaged in war with Armenia as another Iran's neighbor.
In recent days peace prevails in the region with the establishment of a ceasefire from Monday.
During the war, dozens of mortars, rockets, and missiles hit unintentionally at the border town of Khoda Afarin in east Azerbaijan by the warring side, which faced harsh response of Iran Foreign Ministry warnings.
The conflict between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia began in 1988, turning into a military conflict in 1991, and has once again intensified with some foreign countries' intervention.
A new round of clashes began early this month, with several forces on both sides killed or wounded.
