Four semi-heavy and high-speed vessels joined the operational fleet of Bushehr province (southern Iran) to ensure Iran's maritime security.

Iran Press/Iran News: Brigadier General Ahmad Ali Goodarzi, Commander of the Border Police of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said on Thursday that these vessels include two 60-foot semi-heavy Haidar vessels and two high-speed Persian Gulf-class vessels produced by the Iranian Ministry of Defense.

Goodarzi added that these vessels have a high speed and can operate border guards' missions in the depths of the seas.

The border commander of the police force of the Islamic Republic of Iran pointed out that due to the presence of trans-regional forces in the region, Iran's strong presence at sea should be increased.
