Iran Press/ Iran News: The Deputy Minister and Head of the Institute for Political and International Studies of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Seyed Mohammad Kazem Sajjadpour, on Wednesday in a webinar aimed at examining the compromise between Bahrain and the UAE with the Zionist regime hosted by Karachi, Pakistan, called the compromise as a result of US internal problems and betrayal of the Palestinian people, saying it was an American presidential election project and a psychological ploy.
Sajjadpour added that in the past 70 years, 60 American-European plans have been proposed to resolve the Palestinian issue, but all of them have failed.
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister noted that some countries in the region, unlike Iran, do not trust their security and seek to conclude such agreements, while this agreement will not solve the fundamental problem of Palestine.
Sajjadpour also stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran has provided strong and impenetrable security in the past four decades in accordance with its domestic policies, and at the same time has never attacked a country but has been in a defensive position.
The UAE and Bahrain signed an agreement on normalization of ties on September 15 in the White House with US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after announcing a compromise agreement with the occupying regime.
