Iran PressMiddle East: Al-Mayadin reported that Israeli fighter jets and helicopters targeted the eastern Deir al-Balah area in the center of the Gaza Strip.

No casualties have been reported so far.

The Israeli regime's army claimed that the attack was carried out in response to a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip into the occupied territories.

Zionist regime's fighter jets, helicopters, drones and artillery have repeatedly targeted various areas of the Gaza Strip in recent months.

Since December 2017, the Zionist regime has put on its agenda a new round of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.

These attacks are always carried out under false pretenses.
