Leader appreciates Iranian Law Enforcement Forces on occasion of Police Week

Tehran (IP) - In a message on Tuesday, the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran Police (IRIP) on the occasion of Police Week.

Iran PressIran News: "Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari; Give my regards to all the good and hardworking staff and law enforcement officers," addressing the Police Chief Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari in the message, the Leader wrote.

"The Iranian nation is thankful for the endless efforts of its serving forces," the leader stressed. "These days, people feel both authority and kindness in the Iranian police force and welcome its initiatives in dealing with illegal and immoral acts," Ayatollah Khamenei ended.

On the occasion of Police Week, a Joint Morning Ceremony of Law Enforcement Forces (Police) was held in Tehran on Monday.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Tehran Police Chief Hossein Rahimi, Tehran’s interim Friday Prayers Leader Hojjatoleslam Kazem Sedighi, and Tehran Province Governor-General Anoushirvan Mohseni Pandey.
